William Cameron and Brothers, of Virginia, the makers of the celebrated Brands RAVEN, VENUS, TWO SEAS, Ac, will arrive direct to our consignment by the ship Gemsbok, which left New York on 19th June. The assortment will consist of Twists, Tens, Halves, Pocket Piece§, &c, &c. The Twist in quarter and half-tierces will be branded CABLE. The Twist in cases of same quality will be branded VENUS. The Tens will be called SIGNET, and will be put up in three-quarter, half, and quarter boxes. The Aromatics will be branded HAVELOCK and TALISMAN. On the visit to New Zealand of Mr. William Cameron in January last, he waß convinced that it would be desirable for bis firm to open a direct trade with this Colony, and to introduce their best grades of Tobacco under new brands to be specially reserved for New Zealand. He then did us the favor of appointing us the New Zealand Agents of his firm, and the shipment we now have the honor to announce is the first under this arrangement. It will^be followed by other shipments during the season ; and it gives us pleasure to inform you that we have the assurance of Messrs. Cameron, that the Tobaccos manufactured for New Zealand will be of the choicest quality and workmanship they are able to produce.
