MONDAY; August 25. In the Honse to-night, Mr. Taiboa presented a petition from' the natives of Hawke's Bay and' Wellington against tie Native Reserves Act Amendment Bill. . The Diseased Cattle Act Amendment Bill was read a first time. The Native' Reserves Act Amendment Bill was read a third time. Mr. O'Rorke moved the seoond reading of the Promissory Oath Bill, which was carried without discussion. The debate on the Weights and Measures Act Amendment Bill is now proceeding;
