THE BOARD OP HEALTH.

To the Editor of ths Colonist.

Sib,—What is the Board of Health for this City doingP Have they directed their attention to the sanitary condition of Nelson? for instance, have they taken any steps towards obtaining the removal of that foul nuiianoe in Hardy-street. Fever has commenced its work of death and desolation in our midst; and a very serious responsibility rests on the shoulders of the gentlemen composing the Board of Health iv connection therewith. It is their duty to see that all nuisances, which will feed an epidemic fever, are removed from our midst at whatever cost. Yours, &c,

A CITIZBN.
