Oswald Cubtis, Superintendent of the Province of Nelson, in the Islands of New Zealand, &c, &c. IN exercise of the power and authority in me vested, I, Oswald Curtis, Superintendent of the Province of Nelson, acting with the advice and consent ofthe Executive Council of the said Province, do hereby proclaim and declare that on and after this date, the undermentioned boundaries shall be the boundaries of the Amuri district, for the purposes of "The Nelson Scab Act, 1868," and "The Nelson Scab Act Amendment Act, 1869," and that the 9th and 10th Seotions of " The Nelson Scab Act, 1868," shall come into operation within the said boundaries on and after this date. From the mouth of the Hurunui river to Lake Sumner; from Lake Sumner to the saddle between the Hurunui and Teremakau; thence northward by the boundary of the Nelson South-west Goldfields to Mount Franklyn ; thence by the western watershed of the Wairau river to the Tophouse; thence by the boundary between the Provinces of Nelson and Marlborough to the mouth of the River Conway; thence by the sea coast to the mouth of the River Hurunui. Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province, at Nelson, this First day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventythree.
