The following are the polling places appointed in the Province of, 1 Nelson: —
City— Provincial Hall, Odd-Fellows' Hall,
Suburbs of 2Vefeo»—Provincial Hall, Nelson • School-rooms, Stoke and Hillside; Institute Richmond.
Waimea —lnstitute, Wakefield; School-rooms, Spring Grove and Upper Wakefield; Library, Motueka Valley; Court-house, Wangapeka'; M'Gt-regor's store, Tiraumea ; Warden's Office, filatakitaki. '
CollingioooA — Court-house, Collingwood and Takaka ; School-house, Clifton; Police Office, Slate River.
Motueka —lnstitute, Motueka 5 School-rooms, Dovedale, Riwaka, Ngatimoti, Lower Moutere, Upper Moutere; Southern 3chool-room, Waimea West.
Cheviot —Court-houses, Kaikoura, and Waiau ; Moore's Woolshed, Glenmark.
Mr. J. C. Richmond and the Electors of Wellington.—Mr. Richmond has replied as follows to the requisition of Wellington electors, asking him to stand for the representation of that city:— " Gentlemen,—l willingly accept your proposition, and will visit Wellington shortly to discuss with the electors the issues raised by Messrs. Vogel and Fox. I shall support with my best abilities the practice) of prudent calculation as opposed to blind and profligate financial speculation, and the cause of freedom as against anti-commercial restriction and sooial intermeddling by the Government. I am, &c, J. C. Richmond."
