(fkom otte own correspondent.) Wellington, Monday, 7 24 p.m. Auckland news about Te Kooti is unsatisfactory. The King natives appear to have acted with duplicity, and deceived Mr. M'Leau. There ia no news from the Wanganui Maoris who were supplied with arras by the Government. The Government have received a telegram that four ships of the Flying Squadron had passed about five miles from Otago Heads under canvas at eleven o'clock, and two rnora passed under steam, Considerable preparations are making here for entertaining the officers and crews. There are to be picnics, a ball, and other amusements. The A.S.N Company's steamship Eangatira will open the line of steamers between Sydney and San Francisco, on Ist March, calling at Auckland.
