She left Nelson on Friday, 7th instant, 3 p.m., crossing the Westport bar at 1 p.m. on Saturday; left early on Sunday, arriving at Hokitika at noon same day; left at 2 p.m on Monday, arriving at Greymouth at 4 p.m. same day; left at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, arriving at Westport at 4 a.m. on Wednesday ; left at 4 p.m. same day, arriving here as above. Continued rain having caused heavy freshes in the several rivers rendered! their navigation extremely difficult. ■ l A Tokomairiro paper states that the contract for the erection of the lighthouse at the Nuggets has now been completed.
