The regular cqurpe of instruction comprises the Latin, Greek, and French Languages; Arithmetic, Mathematics, Geometry, and the Elements of Natural Science; Geography, History (Ancient and Modern), i Writing, the English Language—its Grammar, Literature, and Composition. In connection with this institution there are seven Scholarships, open for competition aa they become vacant (due public notice of which is given,) viz : — three of £30 a year each, throe of £20 a year each, and one of £10, variously tenable for from one to three years. Three of these —the Newcotne of £30, a Foundation 0f.£30, and a Foundation of £10 per annum, respectively—are open to competition at the commencement of the ensuing term. This will also be- the occasion for celebrating the TWENTY-SEVENTH ANNIVERSARY OF THE PROVINCE. The MEMBERS of COURT ROBIN HOOD will celebrate their SIXTH ANNIVERSARY by a day of recreation and amusement, in which they also invito the «o-opyrafcion of kindred societies aud the public generally. OLD ENGLISH SPORTS will be provided consisting of DONKEY RACES, JUMPING IN SACKS, JINGLING MATCHES, WHEELS-BROW RACES, FOOT RACES, QUOITS, AUNT SALLY, &c, &o. SPORTS FOR CHILDREN will be provided, and Prizes for the same distributed. A COLD COLLATION, to be presided over by his Honor the Superintendent, will be provided by Mr. Everett, at half-past Twelve o'clock precisely, ia a spacious Booth, built expressly for the occasion. Tickets, Three Shillings and Sixpence each. A very excellent TEA will alao be provided by Mr. Johns, in the Booth, afc Five o'clock, Tickets for which will be, for Adults, One Shilling- & Sixpence, and for Ohildhen, One Shilling. The NELSON BRASS BAND has been especially engaged for this occasion, and will play in the open air during the day. A SPACIOUS DANCING ROOM will also be provided, in which the above Band will perform.
