TE KOOTI SUPPOSED TO BE KILLED,

The following telegram was received from Wellington, on Thursday, November 2t>: —

An engagement took place ou Monday, November 23rd, at Poverty Bay Te Kooti is siipposed to be killed. More than twenty of the rebola wera slain. The loss of the loyal natives wns four killed and twelve wounded. Neither party wera able to bury their dead. Our position was admirably situated for artillery practice. A man-of-war's rocket; brigade, with two light guns for throwing shell and grapo-shot ■.were much .wanted.
