held at the Provincial Hall the same evening, and which was a thorough success, there being above 80 couples present to enjoy the inspiring music and excellent refreshments provided. The out-door sights concluded with one of the grandest display of fire-works ever witnessed here. No accident occurred to mar the pleasure of the day, which will be long remembered as the greatest success of anything of the kind ever attempted in Nelson.
