NOTICE is hereby given that a MEETING of the VOTERS in the above district will be held on MONDAY, the 3rd of July, at Noon, at the Schoolhouse, Thackwood, to ELECT THREE MEMBERS of the Board, in accordance with the provisions of the " Country Roads Amendment Act, Session V, No. 12." A Foundation Scholarship, of £20 n year, to be held for three years, and competed for by youths under fifteen years of age on the day of election. 2. The Stafford Scholarship, of £20 a year, to be competed for by youths who have attained the age of fifteen, and to be held for three years, provided that the holder shall write an Essay, to the satisfaction of the Principal, in each of the last two years, on some subject of Modern , •History of the scholai >'s own selection. The EXAMINATION of CANDIDATES for the above will take place at the College on THURSDAY and FRIDAY, the 29th and 30th June ; the Winter Holidays commencing on the Monday after, and lasting for three weeks.
