" Ttte Australasian."—Au important addition to the already excellent periodical literature of Melbourne has been made by the publication of a new weekly journal bearing the above title. The three papers called respectively the IVeeldy Ari/us, the Yeoman and the Examiner, are incorporated with it. It contains sixteen pages of closely printed matter, and is really more like a magazine than a newspaper. Tlie first number is now before us, and one is at a loss which most to admire—the amount of information contained in it, or the beauty of what is technically called the " get up." It is impossible in one short notice to give an account of the contents. Like Count Smorltork's immortal work 'on England, it comprises "history, sporting, commerce, politic,—all ting."
