All matches to be run on this day. THURSDAY, Maech 10. The Town Plate of 100 soys ; entrance, 8 soys each. For three-years old, 7st 51bs ; four, Bst 121bs ; five, 9st Gibs ; six and aged, 9st lOlbs ; 31bs allowed to mares and geldings. Allowance for English-bred horses as in T.C.P. Three miles. The Hack Race of 5 soys; entrance five shillings each. The winner of the Hack Race of the preceding day not allowed to start. Once round. The Cheviot Cup, value 100 soys, presented by W. Robinson, Esq. A Free Handicap. Acceptors, 5 soys each, to go to the Race Fund. Horses to be handicapped by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and weights declared at the Trafalgar Hotel, at eight o'clock, p.m., on "Wednesday, the 9th of March. One mile and a half. The Consolation Plate of 40 soys; entrance, 3 soys each, p p ; for horses that have started and not won in the previous races. Horses to be named within a quarter of an hour after the race for the Cheviot Cup, and to be handicapped by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint. One mile. The Foeced Handicap of ten per centum of the gross amount of money won, h ft; for the winner of any race, excepting the Great Nelson Trial Stakes, Cheviot Cup, and Consolation Plate ; open to any other horse by making a stake of 5 soys; h ft. Horses to be named at the same time as for the Consolation Plate, and to be handicapped in the same manner. One mile and a-quarter. Regulations. No person not a subscriber of Two Guineas to the fund will be allowed to enter a horse for any race, except Hack Races. Entries (excepting for the Handicap Plate, Maiden Plato, Consolation Plate, and Forced Handicap) to be made, and colors of the riders declared, under a sealed cover, to the Secretary of the Turf Club, at the Trafalgar Hotel, at or before Six o'clock, on the evening of Friday, the 4th of March. A bell will ring for saddling, and another for starting ; not more than five minutes allowed after the last bell, when the horses at the post will be started. Horses to be at the post tor the first race on each' day at Twelve o'clock. : The prizes will bo paid by the Treasurer, on the Wednesday following the races, at the Trafalgar Hotel, at Eleven o'clock, a.m. C.
