The competitor must be a member of the Society and each essay is not to occupy more than 12 pages of post 4t0., ruled faint only, to which no signature or mark is to be attached. The essays are to bo forwarded to the Secretary on or before January 31,1864, accompanied with a note signed by the writer of the essay. The Prizes will be publicly awarded at the next Annual-Meeting of the Society.
