We have little new to relate, except that stocks of all kinds are full. Trade is generally tolerably brisk, mainly in anticipation, and traders look forward to the increased population rising from an influx of gold miners when spring sets in. In connection with the West Coast a smart steamer, the Sturt, is now running, and has just made the passage between the Buller and Nelson, including three stoppages by the way, iii 26i hours.
