WRECK OF THE ADMBLLA. Melbourne, Tuesday, 7.45 p.m.
We have received some particulars of the wreck of the steamer Admella. The following is a list of her passengers:— - . In the Cabin■:—J. Magarey, H. Fisher, Holbrook, Dr. Vaux, Whittaker, G. Fisher, Miller, Miss Ledruth. .... In the Steerage-.—.'Thomas O'Halloran. Sirs. Goode, Patrick and Mrs. Glynn, John and Mrs. Watson, Mrs. Ramsay, Ferdinand Bade, Thomas. Richardson, George and H. Watkins, Charlotte Sholland and four children, Patrick Carigg, -B. Baker, Michael Forrester, Mrs. Coekson, John Battrick, Hugh M'lnnis, Mrs. Bowie, Mrs. Beith, and three children, Edwin Chambers, George and Mrs. Forrester, Eliza Paul, M. Meagher, J. Teazeale, Patrick Amther. Up to the present time we only know of two men as having been saved. There is, however, another report stating that 13 have been saved. - When the vessel struck all the boats broke loose The two men before mentioned got ashore on the boom. One ofthe passengers offered them jgSQQ for a passage to the shore.—Sydney Empire, Aug: 10.,
