. The Central Criminal Court .in Sydney has been sittting this week. The offences tried were not of the veiy worst character. A prisoner indicted for rape has heerT acquitted ; Patrick Kelligher, for the manslaughter of Roliert Simpson at Liverpool, ' has been sentenced to 3 years hard labor in gaol. A case of embezzlement on the part of a mercantile collector has been punished with 5 years on the roads. The Couvfc lias for two days been occupied in the trial, as yet unfinished, of John Gnreed, for fradulent ia-solyeucy.-^JSmjpire, Aaguat G.
