TO CORRESPONDENTS.
Communications intended for insertion in the Colonist must be accompanied by. the name and address of the author; not necessarily for publication, but as a guarantee of good faith. Gur Collingwood correspondent complains of the ortho■graphy and punctuation of his reports, &c. We can only assure him that his despatches generally reach us just as we are going to press; this may account for the cause of his complaint. We hope to do better for the future. .
South Waimea.—We have received what evidently is intended as a financial statement of South Waimea Schoo 1. If "W. H." will furnish something in the shape of a report which both we and our readers could understand, we shall be happy' to give it insertion.
