SYDNEY.

November 1. The amount of gold coin issued by the Sydneybranch of the Royal Mint, during the week ended 30th October, has been 30,000 sovereigns. ■ The half-yearly meeting of the New South Wales Marine Assurance Company was held on the 28th October. The report declared a dividend of 12J per cent, for the half-year, and was unanimously adopted. The dividends paid, including that now declared, from the commencement of the company, amount to 107 h per cent, on the paid-up capital, or about 18 per cent per annum. The half-yearly meeting of the shareholders in the Sydney Insurance Company was held on the 30th October. The amount of risks has reached £3,590,778. The report was adopted, and a dividend at the rate of 10 per cent, per annum declared. Flour.—The market continues dull. Teas.—-Congous firm at £8 155.; good hysonskin very scarce, and saleable at a£s 10s. to £8 6s.
