Grant To Writer
A subsidy of £2OO has been granted Mr J. A. Lee towards the re-printing of his novel “Children of the Poor”. The Hon. W. E. Parry, Minister in Charge of Internal Affairs, states that to date a total sum of £4lOO has been granted to writers from the New Zealand Literary Fund during the two years of its existence.
