YOUNG FARMERS

TE ANGA CENTRAL CLUB THE BROADCASTING TOUR There was a good attendance at a meeting of the Te Anga Central Young- Farmers’ Club, which was presided over- by Mr B. Davis. It was decided to arrange a tennis match with the members of the Otorohanga Club. The question of forming a miniature rifle club was discussed, but found no general support. Mr R. L. Parker was nominated as the Club’s representative on the National Broadcasting tour. .Mr D. Halcrow declined nomination. As the Club had always been granted the use of the hall free of charge, the members, in appreciation thereof, formed themselves into a working bee and erected a stage, which is a big improvement to the hall.
