Land Tax Payments
The due date of payment of land tax by taxpayers other than companies, which normally is payable in October, has been postponed until some time in January, according to an announcement by the Minister of Finance, Mr Nash. Mr Nash said that the postponment was due to unavoidable delay in assessment work. The date of payment will be notified. He added that the due date for payment of land tax by companies had not been postponed and had been fixed for October 27. Demands would be posted shortly before that date.
