All lines of poultry offered by G- D. Shepherd and Co. at their weekly sale yesterday sold at higher rates, laying ducks realised highest prices for some months. Quotations: Ducks 8s to 10s, W.L. hens 3s to 6s 6d, W.t. roosters 6s 6d, R.I.R. hens 7s, R.I.R. cockerels Bs, 8.0. hens 4s, 8.0. pullets 6s to 7s 6d, bantams Is 6d.
