Rubble From Ballantynes

To be used in the levelling of the site of the new Cashmere Hospital, 4017 yards of rubble from Ballantynes buildings were bought by the North Canterbury Hospital Board for 4s lOd a yard. The board has also obtained 1313 yards of good top soil at the low cost of 6s a yard, and has sought Ministerial appi-oval for the £llB9 involved in the two purchases.
