OLD-TIME DANCE

HAPPY TIME SPENT That real old time dancing still has a wide appeal was proved on Saturday night when a large crowd attended the old time dance held in the Te Awamutu College Hall under the auspices of the St. John Ambulance Division. All present voted the dance to be an outstanding success and many expressions of pleasurable anticipation for the next dance were heard. The duties, of master of ceremonies were capably carried out by Mr J. Linehan, assisted by Mr W. Adams. Excellent music was supplied by G. Dalton’s orchestra. A novelty dance was won by Mr and Mrs H. B. Ward.
