Newton, of Kihikihi, who 4 has been a patient in Waikato Hospital, has returned home. Mr G. S. Clftrke left last night for Wellington en route to Australia where he will spend a holiday. Mr Clarke expects to return to the Dominion in a month’s time.

The many friends of Mr and Mrs F. J. Shearer will be pleased to learn that their eldest son, Mr Hamish M. Shearer, who is attending the Victoria University in Wellington studying law, has passed the second section of the LL.B, degree. Congratulations will be extended to the young student on his success.
