Penguins Near Grey mouth

Three small penguins, which came ashore north of Greymouth on Anzac Day, were seen by motorists strutting along the road after dark. One was noticed at the Twelve Mile, while the other two birds were seen 5 miles nqarer Barrytown. The birds were dazzled by the headlights of passing cars. Penguins are not strangers to the Grey district, but their visits are fairly rare.
