School Bus Routes
Following upon representations to the Minister of Works on the improvement of school bus routes, a report has been requested from the Waitomo County Council on the improving of the metalled surfaces # of three roads which the supervisor of school buses said school buses might have to be withdrawn unless improvements were effected. After discussion on the question last Friday the Council decided to request the Government to make available money for the improvement of the surfaces of these roads upon a subsidy of £4 for £!•
