TE AWAMUTU CLUB VISITS TE KUITI Te Awamutu Oddfellows’ Table Tennis Club defeated the Naumai Maori Club at Te Kuiti in a close match played last Thursday evening. The winners won by 20 sets to 18, and the good performances of both teams were witnessed with keen interest by members of the two Clubs.

During the thrilling singles match of the evening Mrs Bundle, Mrs Manawaiti, and Miss N. Morriss, and in the men’s singles, K. Hetet and A. Harvey, the match pair, playing long, rolling strokes, gave the spectators a good exhibition of the game, which was watched with excitement and interest.
