Disappointment Expressed

Speaking at the close of last night’s concert by Rubini and Uster Mr Gladstone Hill, the manager, expressed keen disappointment at the small audience. While audiences were enthusiastic it was deplorable that such artists should perform to so few, and Mr Hill asked what the people of New Zealand were coming to. Mr Hill’s remarks were heartily endorsed by those present.
