STOCKING VARIOUS STREAMS ACTIVITIES OF TE AWAMUTU ACCLIMATISATION SOCIETY At the meeting of the Te Awamutu Acclimatisation Society it was decided to order 40,000 rainbow Anglings and 10,000 brown Anglings for release as follows:—Puniu upper reaches, 15,000; Mangatutu upper reaches, 15,000; Owairaka, 5000; Mangaiti, 5000; Mangaweka, 5000; Ngutunui, 5000. A scale of payment was Axed for stoats, hedgehogs and hawks. The Auckland society advised that cartridges would be provided free of charge for use in the destruction of shags.
