THE CENSUS
TUESDAY NIGHT’S OBLIGATION FORMS NOW DISTRIBUTED To-morrow (Tuesday) night the people throughout this Dominion will be called upon to carry out their obligation to the census. The official time of the taking of the census is midnight, but it is safe to say that the forms will be mostly filled in long before that hour. Towards the end of last week subenumerators were busy in the borough and district making the distribution of the census forms. The obligation to secure a form, however, does rest with the individual so that if any in the Cambridge district have been overlooked they should notify the Post Office and a schedule wilt be delivered. Those who win be travelling at mid-night on Tuesday should secure a special form from the Post Office before commencing their journey. The schedule delivered at the home is not to be used by travellers. The collection of the completed schedules will be commenced on Wednesday morning.
