TOKANUI - TE MAWHAI BRANCH At the monthly meeting held last Wednesday members were very interested to have recounted to them the experiences of Corporal W. Darned, an ex-prisoner of war. He gave a resume of his life as a prisoner of war from the time he was captured until his'arrival in England. During the afternoon Mrs G. Ramsay entertained members with two vocal solos, Mrs Perrott providing the accompaniments. A competition for a framed tapestry picture was won by Mrs Westbrook.'
