DIAMOND JUBILEE

KIHIKIHI PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH WEEK-END CELEBRATIONS An event of outstanding importance not only: to members of the Presbyterian .Church but to residents' generally is the celebration of the diamond jubilee of the Kihikihi Presebyterian. Church, which is to take place over the week-end. To-morrow afternoon a garden party will be held in the Manse grounds, and jn ther evening a concert and social will take: place. On Sunday morning the Rev. K. L. Warren, M.A., will conduct the Communion; service.' That afternoon Sister Grace Entrican will have direction of the children’s service; and the evening service will be conducted by the Rev. W. T. Brabyn, who was one of the earlier ministers of the Church. A large number of visitors from all parts of the province are expected, and indications are that the various functions and services will be largely attended.
