BELONGS TO SUPPLIERS

WHEY MILK AT FACTORY ‘What happens to the whey milk?” asked a shareholder at a meeting of suppliers of the Norfolk Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., Motumaoho, following the reading of the minutes of the previous annual meeting, in which it was noted that the directors had been requested to consider what could best be done with it. It was explained by the chairman, Mr S. A. Ferguson, that the whey belonged to the individual supplier mid thus it was outside the scope of the company’s business to deal with it. The company could not make arrangements to dispose of suppliers’ property, although if the position arose that the whey created a nuisance suppliers would be asked to remove it.
