KORAKONUI DANCE

SOLDIERS’ WELFARE COMMITTEE Success again attended the efforts of the Korakonui Soldiers’ Welfare Committee in sponsoring a dance on Friday evening last- A large crowd of settlers patronised the function and assured a most pleasant evening. Music was supplied by O’Brien’s orchestra, and the duties of master oi* ceremonies were carried out by Mr TH. White. Miss Joan La wry obliged with an extra. A Monte Carlo dance was- won by Mrs Reeve and Mr B. Ham, and a competition by Mr G. Gower. A delightful supper was served by the ladies, and dancing continued till a late hour, the National Anthem closing the evening.
