SUCCESSFUL DANCE

FUNCTION AT PIRONGIA The fortnightly dance was held in Pirongia Hall last Saturday, and proved to be a huge success. People from surrounding districts were present, and the evening was much enjoyed. The M.C. was Mr Don Campbell, and the winners of the Monte Carlo were Mr and Mrs C. Bainbridge and the spot waltz Mr and Mrs St. George. Cards were played by non-dancers, and Mrs M. Lindsay and Mr M. Miller were the winners. Competitions were held, and resulted as follows: Hamper—Mrs Easton; stockings—Mrs R. Muir; cake—Mr R. Robinson.
