CRAZY SHOW
A WILLIAMSON PRODUCTION On Thursday night at the Empire Theatre, beginning at 8 o’clock, the Great Levante, by arrangement with J. C. Williamson Theatres Ltd., will present the London Palladium laughing success, “Crazy Show,” which proved the most popular production staged in Auckland and Wellington and Christchurch for several years, its chief features being the splendid work of a brilliant team of comedians, the snappy and up-to-date sketches , the magic and mind-reading featußc, of the Great Levante, the lovely n.ilets and also the appearance in person of Geqrge Tollerton, the brilliant ventriloquist in his presentation of “Chuckles with Jerry.” It is said that there is not one dull moment in “Crazy Show,” and for close on three hours the audience is either laughing heartily or being entertained by unique and original features, which include spectacular stage settings and gorgeous frocks. A full orchestra is under the direction of Gordon Girdwood. The box plans are at Gifford’s.
