SHOOTING CLUBS

AMMUNITION NOT REQUIRED ADVICE FROM DEFENCE DEPARTMENT Advice has been received by the Te Awamutu-Cambridge Defence Club— Miniature Rifle Branch—that the Defence Department does not require the ammunition held by the defence rifle clubs or of gun clubs. - In view of this fact it is expected that the Defence Rifle Club will resume activities, and a meeting of the Te Awamutu-Cambridge Club will be held shortly to consider the position. The Cambridge Gun Club is similarly affected by the announcement, and this club is also expected to recommence operations some time soon.
