Public Notices. TE AWAMUTU EMERGENCY PRECAUTIONS ORGANISATION AN EMERGENCY TRY-OUT on TUESDAY NEXT (10th February). A TRIAL EMERGENCY ALARM will be sounded in Te Awamutu NEXT TUESDAY (10th February). The alarm, a series of short blasts by whistle, siren, and air horn for two minutes, will be sounded shortly after 5 p.m. The purpose of this try-out is to test Emergency Precautions Organisation. All E.P.S. workers must report immediately to their respective headquarters. On the sounding of the alarm the public will be required to stay indoors or to seek cover. The emergency police will clear the streets. L. G.
