JN accepting nomination as a candidate for the Otorohanga County and Otorohanga Town Board’s Representative on the Waikato Hospital Board, I feel the time has arrived when it is essential that close attention must be given to the everincreasing amount of expenditure The increase in the County Hospital Levy from, £1955 to £3556 is a very serious matter to the County ratepayers, and the same applies to an increase in the Town Board Levy from £216 to £290. Having been once again elected unopposed as a Councillor for the Waipa Riding of the Otorohanga County, which I have represented for nine years, and also unopposed on the Waitomo Electric Power Board, four years as Chairman, I am confident that the experience thereby gained fully qualifies me to act as your representative, and I can assure the Ratepayers of the Otorohanga County and the Residents of the Town Board Area, if elected, that I will at all times work in the best interests of i the Combined Area. From Parawera .Sub-station to Pukeatua on TUESDAY, 13th May. From Te Kawa Sub-station to Ngahape and Korakonui on WEDNESDAY, 14th May. Between Te Mawhai and Te Kawa Sub-stations, including Waikeria Road, on THURSDAY, 15th May. From the Borough Boundary to Pirongia, including Mangapiko, on FRIDAY, 16th May.
