Armstrong (chairman), J. Waters, E. Menary, H. B. Ward, J. Fleming, J. B. White, and G. M. Wall. Johnson waited on the Committee on behalf of the local High School Committee regarding the latter’s proposal to hold a Paddy’s market in Te Awamutu on Thursday, 24th April. It was agreed to co-operate in the effort, but it was decided that no primary school pupil should be allowed to sei] raffle tickets. The report of the headmaster (Mr N. F. Rigby) was received, and he was authorised to procure a few requisites. It was decided to request the Education Board for an advance payment on account of the new swimming poo] which, it was reported, was nearing completion.
