Severe burns were received by Sonya Beale, three-year-old daughter of Mr and Mrs K. C. Beale, of Roto-o-Rangi, early yesterday morning, when her nightdress became ignited through contact with an electric radiator in the house. The child was standing in front of the radiator when a draught caused her clothing to blow on to it. The child’s condition is reported to be improving.
