MEDICAL EXAMINATION

TO START NEXT WEEK. A number of men in No. 4 (Hamilton) military area who were drawn in the No. 1 (Territorial Force) and the No. 2 (Territorial Force) ballots for compulsory military service have yet to be medically examined; After the holiday break the medical boards will resume in the area next week, when the majority of these outstanding cases will be examined. Thos" men who are passed fit will be drafted to territorial units for training as they are required. When the two territorial ballots examinations are concluded a start will be made on examining men drawn for overseas service in the No. 3 (Expeditionary Force) ballot.
