MORE MEMBERS ENROLLED. TROOP LEADER APPOINTED. *• Another meeting of those interested in the formation of a Te Awamutu troop of the Legion of Frontiersmen was held on Wednesday evening in the rooms of the Returned Soldiers’ Association. The convener was Mr N. E. J. Rossiter, and he presided, according a . welcome to Captain A. C. Thompson, of Otorohanga, officer commanding O Squadron, which already has troops at Pio Pio, Te Kuiti, and Otorohanga. 'With Captain Thompson were Lieutenant Mvhill, Quarter-Master-Ser-geant Savill, Sergeant-Major Cook, and another frontiersman. Three new members of Te Alramutu troop were duly enrolled, and Mr Rossiter was appointed troop leader, with Mr G. Bridge as sergeant. Mr Bridge also undertook the duties of secretary.
