It was decided to ask the gatekeepers at Albert Park to commence their duties earlier in the afternoon on Saturdays.

Mr Daniell undertook to be responsible for controlling the gate in front of the grandstand on Saturdays when Te Awamutu Club senior team plays at the Park.

The Junior Advisory Board inquired if the Union would admit all players under its control free of charge when representative games in any grade were being played, and after full discussion it was decided that when senior representative games were being played only passes for those players engaged in any match on the ground be recognised at the gates; on all other occasions registered players be recognised. Mr Daniell recorded a dissentient vote. FOURTH-GRADE COMPETITION. A letter from the Junior Advisory Board asked the Union to carry the fourth-grade players’ insurance and to pay medical expenses according to the rules of the Union. Speaking in support, and in explanation, Mr Petersen stated that the Advisory Board considered that no insurance fee should be collected from fourth-grade players, and that the Union should only be responsible for the first £1 Is that might be incurred by any player in medical expenses. The Union decided not to collect any insurance fee, and to be responsible for the first £1 Is by way of medical expenses for injured fourthgrade players. The Union also accepted the Advisory Board’s recommendation that affiliation fee for fourth-grade teams be 5s per team for the present season.

Reynolds and his fellow workers in preparing the grounds for play, without wages charge.—Approved. GRANDSTAND PASSES. The subject of grandstand passes for officials was discussed at length, and the secretary stated that, consequent upon the conference with the grandstand trustees, it had been agreed by the latter to make available up to 30 passes for Union and club officials; but he had found that approximately 45 passes were needed, though on’y a portion of these would be used on any day for week after week several teams were playing away from Albert Park, and their officials would be with them.—lt was decided to ask the trustees to issue up to 45 passes, the Union to pay the trustees £s per pass, and collect this amount from Union officials and team managers. Discussion ensued upon the projected seven-a-side tournament early next month, and a special sub-com-mittee, comprising Messrs Sinclair, Petersen, G. Spinley, W. Whitton and R.
