OTOROHANGA SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd., Te Awamutu, report on their Otorohanga stock sale, held on Wednesday, as follows: Cattle: A fair average entry came forward, meeting with good competition, values being well up to recent market rates. Good fat cows £5 15s to £6 10s, medium £4 to £5 ss, good store cows £3 15s to £4 ss, heavy boners £2 15s to £3 10s, lighter £1 15s to £2 fOs, potter bulls £4 to £4 ss. Sheep: A small yarding was offered, comprising 2-tooth wethers and lambs. Competition was fair, a total clearance being effected. Medium 2-tooth wethers un to 19s 3d, fat lambs (good!. 26s to 28s 3d, others 23s to 265, medium lambs 16s 9d to 20s ‘3d. Pigs: A medium entry of pigs came forward, competition being average. A total clearance was effected with rates at par. No baconers were yarded. Stores 19s 6d to 23s 6d, weaners (g’ood) 6s 6d to 9s 6d, others 3s to 4s 6d. SALE AT CAMBRIDGE. Ltd., Hamilton, report on their Cambridge stock sale, held on Wednesday, as follows: Cattle: A good average entry of cattle came forward, competition being keen and a total clearance being effected at prices well up to recent market rates. Fat cows £6 10s to £7, medium fat cows £5 10s to £6 10s, killable cows £4 10s to £5 ss, good stores £3 15s to £4 2s 6d, heavy boners £3 to £3 7s 6d, others to £2 15s. Pigs: A good entry of pigs came forward, competition was keen, result,ng in a total clearance being effected at prices well up to recent market values. Heavy porkers made £2 6s, medium £2 to £2, ss, light £1 13s to £1 18s, unfinished £1 6s to £1 12s, best stores 18s to 225, smaller 14s 6d to 17s 6d, slips 9s to 12s 6d, weaners 5s to 7s 6d. HAMILTON STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Company Limited report having held their weekly stock sale at Frankton on Tuesday, as under:—An average yarding of ox beef was submitted, but all other lines were in very short supply. Sheep: There was a general hardening in prices, and owing to short supply inferior finished lots received more attention. Our entry included no heavy primo wethers. Medium prime to £1 7s, light to £1 4s, prime lambs 20s to 225, lighter 17s to 19s 6d. Cattle: Prime medium ox £l2 7s 6d to £l2 10s, light prime £ll 17s 6d to £l2. Cow beef wag very short and no quality lots were offered. Heavy prime cows £5 15s to £6 17s, lighter £4 17s to £5 10s, heavy boners £3 18s to £4 12s, light £2 6s to £2 14s. Pigs: A medium yarding of fat and store pigs came forward. Fat pigs, particularly heavy sorts, sold at fully up to late rates. Light porkers—a big percentage of the yarding’ comprising these—met with only average competition, although prices were firm throughout the sale. Prime top weight baconers £4 4s to £4 ss, prime heavy baconers £4 to £4 4s, heavy £3 14s to £4, prime medium £3 10s to £3 15s, medium £3 5s to £3 10s, prime light £3 to £3 ss, lig’ht £2 15s to £3, prime heavy porkers £2 10s to £2 15s, heavy £2 5s to £2 10s, prime medium £2 to £2 ss, medium 35s to £2, prime light 30s to 355, light 25s to 30s, prime small 20s to 255, choppers (medium weight) £2 to £2 10s, best store pigs 22s to 275, medium 18s to 225, best slips 12s to 16s, medium slips 8s to 12s, best weaners 9s to 12s, medium 4s to Bs.
