TE RAHU SCHOOL

JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS. The initial steps for the celebrating of the Te Rahu school jubilee were taken last Mpnday evening, when a meeting of ex-pupils and others interested was held in the school room. Those present were:—Miss Boucher (teacher), Messrs J. A. Johnson, W. J. Thompson, H. H. Thompson, A. Jones, H. Weal, J. Milicich, A. Betts, J. R. Flay, R. Frost, R. J. Weal and C. A. Bowler. Following a general discussion it was decided to hold the celebrations sometime, during the month of May, on a date to be arranged, and those present formed themselves into a committee with power to add, and arrange further details. A further meeting is called for Tuesday eveningnext, when it is hoped there will be a larger and more representative gathering of ex-pupils and those interested.
