.PROSECUTIONS IN LOCAI, COURT. ALL HEARINGS ADJOURNED. As usual in Te Awamutu Courts, there were several prosecutions Ijy the Transport Department (through Transport Officer R. Metcalfe) at the local sitting on Thursday. The charges against several defendants included overloading, speeding, having no weights displayed on vehicles, motor cycle offences, etc. Traffic Inspector Cook asked for an adjournment, owing to Inspector Metcalfe's indisposition. His Worship said he would adjourn all the transport prosecutions until January 19th.
