It comprises principally young cows in attractive condition, and buyers are assured of having presented before them a genuine, clean herd which they can buy with confidence. These cattle have been on swedes, are in first-class order, and, coming oft' hard country, will do well wherever taken. They will be kept by the Vendor a week or so for purchasers, and trucked free at Hangatiki. Calving dates will be given at the Sale. Luncheon provided. South Bend plough Most of these cattle are daughters and grand-daughters of Holly Oak Ruler, son of Granny’s Knight, and from a daughter of Soumise Tom. Soumise Tom had more daughters with records over 700 lbs fat than any other bull in the Southern Hemisphere. This herd was founded in 1925 by the selection of outstanding cows for which the vendor paid up to £3O each, and practically all were bred on the farm. Returns showing records up to 400 lbs fat, together with a guarantee covering soundness and calving dates of all cows, will be given at the Sale. This is a really outstanding Sale, and buyers wanting genuine stock ol proved production should attend. Luncheon provided.
